Went down another inner spline on the rear and a couple more turns on the front, that's about as slammed as I want to be...looks good, rides like a hay wagon....but looks good!

Crappy cell phone pics at dusk but you get the idea.

Piece of cake! But you will need an adjustable beam for your front end and drop spindles to get it down that low! The rear end is easy to do. A little labor intensive, but easy! So if low is the way you want to go, you may want to stop what you're doing on your beam, and order an adjustable beam. If you come out to the car show on Wednesday night, myself, Chris, and anyone else that shows up with a bug, will be more than happy to show you our beams...

Hugo..that's not nice, after all the nice things I've done for...I mean to...your sister over the years?! Now you say you hate me?!! lol

We can easily tweak your car down a bit more at the next social/maintenance day!

RED69VDUB...Dan makes a good point, if you're thinking you want to go really low, you'll want to look into a narrowed and adjustable beam to get your wheels up under those fenders. The beam I'm running now I bought out of the states, it's narrowed 6", came complete with new cut to length torsions, bushing's installed and adjusters for $400. Only thing left to do was shorten the tie rod's and install. If you have access to a good welder you can do this yourself though with your current beam.

    Here's a2" narrowed for $150 http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1148539

Or pick whatever size you want here http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=711596
